Experience - 30+ years of Unix/Linux SysAdmin and programming experience puts us light-years ahead of most of the competition. I was the guru of the Atlanta Unix Users' Group, been using Linux on the desktop since the 1.2 kernel, and have shaken hands with Linus.
Communication - Teaching continuing education and for-credit courses for 25+ years means we can communicate. English is my first language, not an add-on. I started teaching continuing education classes at Georgia Tech in 1990: C programming, System Administration and multi-vendor networking for IBM SEs (back when they had SEs) and since 2003 at Emory Continuing Education, and lately Linux classes at Gwinnett Technical College.
Business Savvy - I've run my own business for many years, and been involved in a number of start-ups. I know what it takes to make your business work. I was with an EDI startup in the '90s, then a couple of successful web design startups, and an open-source software education company.
Projects: I'm working on a project for a large new organization based in Atlanta, and another intranet site for a large airline based in Atlanta.
